1930 National Style 0

Up for sale is a wonderful steel bodied 1930 National Style 0 in excellent condition. While I like the more common brass bodied style 0s, these early steel variants are my favorite and share similarities with period Duolians and Triolians while also maintaining the refined nature of the Style 0. This one is in great shape and is mostly original except for new tuners, nut, tailpiece, and biscuit (I’m not an expert on cones but was told it is the original). The guitar has had a neck reset in the recent past and plays wonderfully fingerstyle and slide. The vintage frets are fairly small with some wear but fret cleanly across the board. Very comfortable, quick neck with a medium C shape. It sounds great and plays really well. I think any National fan would be happy.
