When it appeared in 1949, the Gibson ES-5 was the first electric guitar with three pickups, offering players a previously unheard variety of tones.

The Rosewood fretboard is in FANTASTIC condition. Original frets still have most of their life left. Neck is perfect and extremely comfortable to play! Super nice action and AMAZING playability!
Equipped with three 57 Classic humbuckers. These are known to be extremely close to the old PAF sound, giving this guitar a really nice 50s tone as well. Amazing how many styles this guitar can be used for! Here you get not only the most beautiful, full clean sounds, also distorted the guitar with its voluminous character and the beautiful treble of the pickups really fun – especially since you can mix the sound in the “All” position of the toggle at will. For its age, this specimen is in top condition – apart from minimal corrosion on the metal and tiny traces in the varnish, there is nothing to complain about here. Because of the comfortable medium neck and the flame look, this guitar is a joy to play and to look at!
