For sale is this rare vintage late 1959 Fender Telecaster electric guitar. This example has a very old non-original Sunburst finish but is otherwise original. Every other part is original, including; the Brazilian Rosewood slab board neck, neck finish, decal, frets, nut, single-line Klusons, pickups, pickguard, bridge, pots, and Ash body. Bridge pickup reads 7.12 and Neck 6.31. Width at nut 1.65, depth at 1st fret 0.79, depth at 12th fret 0.98. Weight is 6 lbs 12 oz. It is a Top loader and thought body bridge and body, exactly like Jimmy Page’s Telecaster. Not too many come up for sale. This is an absolutely incredible instrument. Super light weight, resonant, and a joy to play, this Tele sounds much better than the majority of Teles and Esquires I’ve played. This guitar truly sings. It has that Tele twang in a very robust way. There is no pencil date on the neck (indicative of ’59 & early ‘60) and the pencil date on the body is unintelligible, though it might actually read 1/60. It includes a non original reissue Tweed case.
