”60’s Parts + Nitro!” Epiphone Casino John Lennon Natural

I’m selling this Epiphone Casino which was a personal project of mine.It started out as an unfinished body which was bought (by the shop i got it from, receipt is included) directly from the Epiphone factory. I was either a prototype or overproduction of a limited run. Therefore it has NO SERIAL NUMBER, only the word “used” on the headstock. The thin sealer coat was removed professionally and it was sprayed with two light coats of nitro, just like John Lennon’s original guitar. It was not polished, it sports a satin like, wooden feel to it.Following parts were used for this project: Lindy Fralin P90 (standard wound, i think) incl. plastic spacer rings for both pickups original 60’s chrome PU covers original 60’s chrome wired Gibson ABR-1 bridge with hard plastic saddles (closest to the 60’s nylon) original 60’s or 70’s chrome trapeze tailpiece original 70’s truss rod cover VIP 550k pots and some high quality caps (forgot which ones) Switchcraft USA toggle switch and output jack aged gold Milk Bottle grovers Crazyparts knobs, strap buttons and switch tip replica of the Harrison/Clapton stamp on the back of the headstock It also comes with the very nice Elitist / “Custom Shop” Case. The neck was slightly reshaped so a very slightly thinner shape but most importantly the unplayable almost square shoulders of the standard Epi models were removed. The frets are like new. The guitar plays and sounds amazing. A whole different level than the regular china Casinos!
