1987-88 Japanese Charvel Limited Edition Model 2. These unique Model 2’s with the matching headstock paint were a special run and very limited edition. They were sent to distributors favored by the Charvel/Jackson factory and the top performing music stores around the world. Word is that these limited edition models utilized better or different woods for the body and necks – Although I cannot confirm this. This one has some bumps and bruises, and a repaired headstock tip, but is in otherwise good condition. It does play and sound fantastic. The EMG 81 is actually a great pairing with this guitar.
I have not had this guitar long or played it for more than a few minutes. All the information I have on these guitars is listed here.
