Gibson ES-335 Memphis DOT 2018 – Cherry Gloss

My dream guitar which I purchased 6 months ago. I installed a set of 1981 Maxon Prototype PAF pickups from a “Lawsuit Era“ Greco Les Paul. If you’re unfamiliar with these pickups I highly recommended looking them up. in 1980 & 81 Maxon reverse engineered the original Gibson PAF’s with the end result being the much sought after “Maxon Dry-Z” which is superior to the original PAF’s the next step down is the Prototype. This guitar is great in every way except for whatever happened on the side of the neck toward the nut. I bought it like this. Unfortunately it was not disclosed. The person that purchased this guitar should be able to repair the binding that was seemingly sanded away. I do not know what happene, I do know that I like a fuller neck & this bit of missing binding affects my feel for this guitar. I paid $2400 so I’m dropping my price $1000 to allow the buyer to cover the cost of a fix.
