Gibson Les Paul Recording 1971 Walnut ORIGINAL ONE OWNER

Early 1970s Les Paul recording model. I am the original and only owner. As you can see from the pictures this guitar has been played. There are a couple of body repairs that were done in the 70’s. With the purchase of the guitar, I will provide the details of the events that led to these repairs as well as pics of me playing the guitar to make sure the guitar’s history is documented. I will also include the manual that I had signed by Les Paul when I saw him perform at Fat Tuesdays in New York City. The neck has not had any repairs or breaks. The frets are still good and have been leveled and crowned. The Grover tuners are not original and I do not have the originals. The electronics work as they should. Where the jack is on the pickguard it’s cracked which is what happened to this guitar over the years of plugging and unplugging the cord. It’s not falling off but you will need to be careful to make sure it doesn’t get worse. See picture. Unfortunately, the case was not stored properly in my basement and it is musty. I’ve tried everything to clean it to no avail. The guitar was NOT in the case during this time. It was in my studio.
