Thanks for stopping by. Up for sale is my 1994 Hamer USA B-12 L Chaparral 12 string bass guitar. If you are looking for this, you probably know it’s a pretty uncommon piece — a 12 string bass guitar, which instead of having 6 notes with two strings each, instead has 4 notes with three strings each. It’s hard to describe the sound, but it’s pretty unique; it has a sort of natural chorus effect that is reminiscent of metal or a gothic sort of vibe.
I bought this instrument in-person from the Chicago Music Exchange a couple of years ago, and included a photo of the Certificate of Authenticity, which I’ll convey with the sale. The OHSC is in great shape as you can see from the pictures. It is very hard to photograph a gloss black finish accurately, but I would say it is in excellent shape. There are very fine surface swirls in the gloss black throughout, the kind you’d see from the use of a polishing cloth. There are 1-2 small chips in the enamel that were corrected using touch-up paint, each one is a couple of millimeters, you would have to view the guitar from 6-12 inches away to discern them, the touch-up occurred prior to my purchase and looks tasteful.
Please let me know if any questions and good luck.
