This is a 2018 Nash JM-63. I bought it thinking I was not a ”Jazzmaster guy,” but this guitar lovingly showed me the ways of the Jazzmaster. The neck, like most Nash guitars, is wonderfully smooth and comfortable. The relic job is tasteful and not super aggressive. It’s in a lovely sonic blue finish, with matching finish on the headstock. The finish has started to slightly green on the body adding to relic vibe. I have loved this guitar for the last 5+ years. I have upgraded the guitar with a Mastery bridge and vibrato and replaced the Lollar JM P-90s with Fralin Jazzmaster pickups (5% overwind in the bridge). I will include the original bridge, vibrato, and Lollar pickups. Everything else on the guitar is stock. The wiring that Nash does makes for an incredibly versatile guitar. The ”rhythm” switch on the upper bout switches between the lower volume and tone pot and the volume and tone pots on the upper bout. The bottom set of pots are 250k and the pots on the upper bout are 500k. The three-way switch works as expected regardless of which pots you are using. You can have the volume turned down on the bottom volume pot for rhythm sections, then flip the switch and be at full volume with a bit of brightness added to make your solo stand out. The guitar is in excellent shape save for the stock relic job from Nash and the slight aging of the finish. Includes the aligator skin case from Nash. The case has some minor discolorations around and a tear on the bottom.
