Floyds Vintage Guitars is proud to present this absolutely stunning early 70s Gibson Les Paul Custom.
Gibson USA can only verify it was made between 1970 and 1975 according to its serial number.
The owner I bought it from said he bought the guitar in a shop in Vienna in 1973 so I assume its a 72/73 model. The sticker of the shop is still on the back of the headstock.
The awesome cherry sunburst has aged beautifully, showing off its vintage looks.
I believe the bridge pickup was swopped out for a Seymour Duncan Invader Humbucker. I could not find our what the neck pickup was as I could not see any visible markings. I was told it’s original but I could not verify.
A push pull switch on the bridge volume knob was added which allows the bridge to play as a Humbucker or single coil pickup.
A switch was also added to allow in and out of phase tones, this is especially good when on the middle position.
One cover is missing on a tuner but this is cosmetic and does not effect the tuners functionality.
No pickup covers on pickups as was yhe owners preference.

The guitar has two marks on the top along with other wear but overall the guitar has aged beautifully.
There are marks on the headstock from being hung on a guitar hook with bad rubbers for decades. Again, these are only cosmetic.
Case is not original but has been replaced with a brand new top of the range USA Gibson Les Paul case.
