After rebuild/refurb “from the ground up”, which took Klassic Keys GB three days to do, this black Wurlitzer EP200 (USA/1974) is now ready to play “You’re my best friend” with verve & panache….with the strident vibrato resonating all over in buckets….. Complete with (1) refurbed original amplifier (good for ten years) …with 1974 date stamp!…and new knobs, fuses & suppressor etc (2) original twin internal speakers (3) original steel legs with self-levelling feet (4) original sustain pedal (5) lovely bright red pilot lamp (6) mains cord.
Its all set up to KKGB’s “pro” standard <> good enough for Abbey Road Studios, James Bay, Steve Winwood & Jacob Collier (see photo) plus 253 discerning producers & musicians all over the world. Set @ 220Vac, with IEC(kettle) mains cord, there is a aux-out socket and a h/phone socket which defeats the monitors if/when any jack is inserted. There is no hum worth mentioning, but Orchid 1:1 passive transformer is included, which kills mains hum, anyway, when the “aux out” socket is used for recording/external amplification. There are no rattles. Keys are showing their age (nearly 50 years), with a few eeny dinks. Top lid is uncracked.
