Rare and historically significant console steel guitar. Only 230 were ever produced. This model was the first instrument to receive the new Seth Lover humbucking pickups in 1956. Yes those are 1957 Gibson humbuckers and they sound spectacular!
Guitar is in very good condition. The classic TV yellow finish is excellent. There is a bit of wear on the neck and a bit of tarnish on the metal but overall the cosmetics are great. The pickups are loud warm and clear and the cut and tone cut effects buttons are a hoot! The pots, switch, bumblebee cap and controls are all original 1957. The pink plush lined case is in great condition as well, with only one small tear in the leatherette.
